We can get energy prices down

  • Did you know that the containment structure of a nuclear power plant is the only part that contains nuclear material?

  • The rest of the power plant operates similarly to any other energy facility.
  • With advancements in technology, hybrid plants can be developed; if a new fuel is discovered, a new containment building could supply raw steam to the existing plant.

  • it's important to remember that nuclear power has been a around for 81 years!

  • This could  play a role in addressing housing affordability and providing potential water bills reduction for residents.

How we would bring water and power bills down

Diagram of a seawater desalination process showing intake to freshwater output.

  • During the day, electrical demand peaks while at night it drops significantly.
  • This low energy period allows for desalination to occur using excess energy, especially as energy prices fluctuate.
  • A water pipeline slowly constructed alongside highways, connecting our towns and helping to replenish our aquifers, creating an excess of water.

  • Water is one resource we have in abundance; let's make the most of it affordably.

Overall Affordability is the most important issue

We're not going to let the American Dream die, are we?

Getting Aggressive with housing

I want to introduce a cash bump program that hasn't been seen since WW2. This initiative aims to address the rising housing affordability.

Right after World War 2, troops came home to a big check

With the cash saved up from there time at war,  they were able to save up from their time at war, they transitioned to new jobs, purchased new cars, and bought housing

What I would do

I envision a unique job class,  that offers state jobs for 1-2 years. Instead of receiving a weekly paycheck, the Florida governor could implement a system where the state pays most of the annual salary in one substantial check at the end of the year.

This approach would empower individuals to make significant life changes,

  • such as putting a down payment on a house,
  • paying off debts,
  • or buying a car.
  • This program could provide a much-needed financial boost.
  • This idea is more complex than one website can illustrate, so stay tuned for upcoming interviews.
